THREE-DAY WEEKLY
BEGINNERS’ COURSES
Ideal
for everybody, we shall learn to take our first steps on the
rock-face, acquiring basic techniques and the knowledge and
correct use of equipment.
1st
DAY:
- meet at 8.30 a.m., distribution of equipment and transfer to
the climbing walls, explanation and use of
equipment
-we will show you how to to tie up and belay systems
-basci climbing progression
- return at 1 p.m.
2nd
DAY:
- meet at 8.30 a.m., transfer to crags
-climbing progression on various types of rock
-climbing progression tied to a partner, and abseiling.
- return at 1 p.m.
3rd
DAY:
- meet at 8.30 a.m.
-easy level ascent in Dolomite environment.
- return in the afternoon.

ADVANCED COURSES
Suitable
for those who have already attended the basic course.
1st
DAY:
-equipment presentation and looking over knots
-rope manoeuvres
-evolved climbing techniques.
- return at 1 p.m.
2nd
DAY:
- meet at 8.30 a.m.
- evolved climbing techniques
- abseiling
-use and positionment of intermediate anchor belays and leading
- return at 1p.m.
3rd
DAY:medium level ascents on one of the most
beautiful climbs in the area, practicing the tecniques learnt
throughout the corse
ADVANCED SPORTS
CLIMBING CORSE

The
course will take place on Saturday and Sunday in the area of
Arco-Lago di Garda, one of the world’s most famous and
beautiful climbing areas. As it is not a beginners’ course, it
is aimed at all those who have already climbed a few times, to
who is able to top-rope on routes from 4c to 5a. The aim of the
course is to make people independent and to allow them to then
go and climb at a crag on their own. We will introduce to who is
able to, being particularly careful on how to belay who is
leading how to place quick-draws and the various ways of passing
the rope through the quickdraws as you lead.

ROCK-CLIMBING COURSE
FOR BEGINNERS AT PASSO SELLA

27 to
29 June 2009
Rock-clinbing
course over a long weekend, suitable for all those who want to
try climbing and take their first steps on rock. It will take
place in the Dolomites at Passo Sella placed between Val di
Fassa and Val Gardena. We shall use the crags of città dei
Sassi and Piz Ciavazes, both not far from the Pass. During the
three days of the course it will be possible to stay half-board
at the Carlo Valentini Refuge. For further information on the
